About Apple Beam Studios

Apple Beam was born in London in 2004. Since then, we have grown to have three separate recording studios and have worked with thousands of bands and singers.
We have great gear that offers pristine recordings for our clients, but we recognise that our most important strength is our skill in using the gear and knowledge of making song work.
A great song recording on poor gear will still be loved by many people. However, a poor song recording on great gear is worthless. Darren Monson
Our productions have been on TV, Films and been released by record labels and artists around the globe.

It's also important to make clear that we do not simply press record and let you get on with it. We get involved, help with songwriting ideas and are passionate about making your music sound right - that is how we make the difference. We offer advice on how to make a music demo!

The Studio History

Apple Beam Recording Studios was founded in 2004 by two London based musicians, Tom Jensen and Darren Monson

Just two years later in late 2006, Tom moved back to his homeland, Denmark and Darren decided to continued to grow the business as well as writing for major music publishers in the UK.

2008 saw the start of a new era for Apple Beam. We welcomed Paul (who had an impressive 20 years experience in the industry) to the London recording studio. Paul and Darren were able to work with hundreds of artists, many of which found success in the industry.
For a while we ran a Platinum Package program that allowed us to concentrate on one artist for a couple of weeks. We were able to work with them to ultimately secure a recording contract and it was very successful. Darren Monson
In late 2010, Darren launched www.audiorokit.co.uk as a way of helping artists connect with music industry professionals easier.
I had seen the industry from all angles, I'd toured as a drummer, written commercially released tracks, produced platinum artists and worked as A&R. The industry felt disjointed to me so I started Audio Rokit as an attempt to simplify it a little! Darren Monson
