Why Choose Apple Beam Recording Studios?
We've been providing quality music production for 10 years, producing more than 2000 songs in that time. Although we have awesome recording gear we don't try and sell you on that fact. We are actually way more proud of our skill and ability as producers.
Have you ever worked with a producer who is rude, uninterested or has no energy? These producers will often press record and let you get on with it.
We never do that. It is very important to us that our clients feel supported and comfortable in the studio. We bring energy, enthusiasm and ideas to all our sessions. See client testimonials.
Many times clients have come to us distraught after wasting hundreds of pounds on sub standard audio productions in other recording studios. We've heard the horror stories and seen the scams. Thankfully our clients know they can trust us to do a great job and not waste their money. Read Our Fair Price Story on the right hand side.
More about us
Our fair price story
In 2004 we set up a Apple Beam. A few huge record releases of the time were recorded on laptops and we could see the industry changing.
In fact, I had recorded the platinum selling artist, Kevin Lyttle in his hotel room using my laptop so I knew larger commercial studios would struggle to charge extortionate prices for much longer.
It seemed that the main drain on money for musicians was the time spent recording.
To combat this, we briefed our clients before they came in to the studio on how to save money when recording. Perhaps that's not good business sense, but we genuinely wanted to give the best deal possible.
As our prices increased we implemented more technology and working strategies to reduce time needed in the studio, so in real terms most of our sessions end up costing the same as they did when we launched.
Musicians have a dilemma, they can either go to a cheap producer and run the risk of low quality work, or go to an expensive producer and risk a huge bill. We take all the guess work and risk away by providing high end services at a mid ranged price.
We've had clients come to us and say that their old producer wants to charge them £400+ to be given the files to their song (known as stems). This is in many ways an example of a hidden cost because most musicians don't consider the stems when they book a studio.
Our focus on customer satisfaction and fair pricing has made us one of London's most popular studios.
